Very Good

Two pools. One thermal and one normal temp. Breakfast great and area lovely. Great hotel. Staff very helpful. Highly recommend.

The thermal pool in the spa. There was no guidance as to what to do and the receptionist was not very helpful but that could have been lost in translation.

Perfect hotel, hood rooms, very clean,breakfast below average, but or else perfectly good

the rooms, the cleanliness, the location is in a very quiet part of the city

breakfast, below average for a four star hotel, i' m a diabetic and there was almost nothing i could eat. For people without allergy or other intolerance would be ok. I definetly did not like the machines for coffe, really mediocre, not good enough for Italy, expescially when there was a perfect bar espresso machine in the breakfast room, but they refused to make a real cappuccino

Disappointing!

Cleanliness

I would only rate this hotel as a 2 star. There was no tea or coffee in rooms. Little or no facilities. The breakfast was awful - little or no fresh fruit. I can’t recommend this hotel - it’s really only good for spa users. I am a walker so nothing at all about walking/trekking in Ischia.

Lovely comfortable hotel would definitely return

Clean, comfortable and pleasant hotel. Breakfasts were excellent and facilities very good. Pool areas nice and all areas maintained well. Staff all friendly.

Extra charges to use bathrobes etc for the spa. Perhaps could have had more useful information in the hotel rooms regarding using the facilities.

Decent resort style hotel - nice thermal pool!

Beautiful views of castle, sea and Procida from balcony. Large, comfortable rooms. Thermal pool is heated to just the right temperature and pool area very clean and well kept. Overall, decent hotel and nice place to relax but a bit of a walk to town/port (15mins).

There are a lot of older people at this hotel... Reception staff were helpful but didn’t seem to have a huge amount of local knowledge about places to go to. The spa was a bit… weird, wouldn’t recommend using! Breakfast was good but they need better coffee and a better selection of hot/savoury dishes.

The property had all the necessary basics, and the staff were very friendly.

The property seemed bigger and more impressive on the pictures, and a lot of the time the bar by the pool wasn’t open.

Over all, this second visit to the Hermitage was a wonderful stay.

The pools are exceptional, especially the heated mineral pool. The landscaping is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The decor of the room was very pleasing but the functionality needs tweaking. We greatly enjoyed the view from the terrace. The staff at the Reception Desk welcomed us with traditional Italian hospitality, especially Mario, a charming gentleman who said he was sad to see us go. He also ended our stay on a high note by booking a tuk-tuk to take us back to the hydrofoil which was so much fun.

The lighting in our newly renovated room resembled two small spaceships with windows that allowed blinding white light to escape. It is impossible to turn off the "spotlight portion" of these blinding white lights because that caused all the lights in the room to turn off. We were reduced to covering these spaceships with the Do Not Disturb sign and it still leaked through! The air conditioning was also impossible to adjust and we resorted to turning it off for our entire stay.

Beautiful place!

We got the most incredible room with the view out onto the castle. It was surreal and once in a lifetime holiday location. The pools were nice and staff made sure that the “spa” atmosphere was maintained throughout the hotel. (A few guests were treating the spa as an aqua park splashing about and causing chaos, and the staff kindly asked them to keep it calm for other guests) the breakfast had great options of mainly pastries and cereals/yoghurts. With a handful of cheeses, meats and juices/coffees/teas. We didn’t get to try the dinner options so not sure whether they were worth it.

We went at a time when it was a lot quieter so there wasn’t that much going on - however that isn’t particularly the hotels fault. Realistically there’s not much we would say we didn’t like - maybe more savoury breakfast options with different types of eggs/cheeses/meats.

The breakfast os very poor. I was missing more fruits and variety of non-pastry such as omelette, vegetables, oatmeal. I think it is necessary to improve the breakfast to meet the 4 star quality.

The location was great. The thermal pool was lovely (warm).

I was expecting more choices for the breakfast. The massages at the spa were supposed to be 50 minutes but they were actually 35 minutes. It is a beautiful hotel but maybe a little expensive.

Excellent customer service and comfortable rooms

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean and the thermal bath facilities were great!

The shower in our bathroom had some issues as it was higher than the surrounding floor and would spill into the bathroom floor sometimes but we were otherwise very pleased with our room
